The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a Threat Analyst providing general analytic support to intelligence and intelligence-related programs and systems. Supports effective research, development, simulation, testing, fielding, employment, sustainment, and improvement of AF capabilities by identifying engineering requirements, resolving/mitigating deficiencies, and integrating intelligence. Duties: Defines the foreign threat environment used to make informed DoD/USAF decisions. Analyzes and interprets data and makes recommendations on broad-based and domain/discipline-agnostic intelligence products, applications, capabilities, and resources within assigned/defined geographical or functional areas of responsibility. Conducts complex analysis of multi-source intelligence. Evaluates both classified and unclassified information to understand adversary strengths, weaknesses, and centers of gravity.   The position serves as a Project Engineer at the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Healthcare System located at Butler, PA. This position performs project planning, produces designs, manages designs, manages construction, and provides construction administration for Minor Construction Projects, Non-Recurring Maintenance (NRM) Projects, Station Level Projects, and Leases, including all areas and aspects (architectural, electrical, life safety, mechanical, civil, structural, etc.). Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4:00pm Functional Statement: HEALTHCARE ENGINEER GS-801-12 Major Duties include but not limited to: Serve as resident and program engineer consisting of the planning, design, and overseeing of major healthcare system projects; oversees Professional Architecture/Engineering (A/E) and Construction contracts to ensure the contractor is in compliance with all contractual requirements, healthcare regulations and codes, specifications and schedules are met in accordance with the government's requirements for VA owned and leased facilities. Assist in the provision of a continuing education program for clinical staff and maintenance personnel addressing the principles and application of building and utility systems in the delivery of health care.
