The primary purpose of this position, Supervisory Intelligence Operations Manager, GG-0132-15, is to serve as the Supervisory Intelligence Operations Manager, sharing with the Director the full scope of responsibility for managing the activities of the directorate. Represents the Director officially, and when acting for the Director, possesses the same authority and prerogatives. -Serve as the "alter ego" for the Director of the Intelligence Directorate of AFMC, planning, organizing, and managing the activities of the directorate. -Exercise supervisory personnel management responsibilities. -Represent the AFMC Intelligence Directorate with a variety of installation and functional area organizations. -Represent the MAJCOM in Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS) workforce boards and studies.

Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate for this position is a seasoned leader with mastery-level knowledge of the full spectrum of intelligence operations, functions, and policies. This individual will possess expert-level proficiency in personnel management, including EEO and security regulations, coupled with a comprehensive ability to plan, direct, and mentor a diverse staff through subordinate supervisors. We are seeking a superb strategist who can analyze and adjust work operations to meet objectives within available resources. The perfect candidate will have masterful communication skills, both oral and written, enabling them to resolve complex problems, author concise intelligence products, and deliver compelling presentations to senior decisionmakers. Furthermore, the candidate must demonstrate a mastery-level ability to manage classified materials, rapidly analyze disparate information to make sound and timely recommendations under pressure, and effectively justify their assessments based on mature judgment and extensive experience. In order to qualify, you must meet the quality experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Administrative and Management Positions. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Your resume must reflect the quality level of experience which demonstrates the possession of the knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for successful job performance required for this position. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas: 1. Mastery knowledge of a comprehensive range of intelligence functions, operations, policies, procedures, and practices and the concepts, theories, and practices of the specialist work performed in the subordinate organizations. 2. Expert knowledge of personnel management, Equal Employment Opporunity, and safety and security regulations, practices, and procedures. 3. Comprehensive ability to plan, organize, and direct the functions and mentor, motivate, and appraise the staff of an organization through subordinate supervisors. 4. Superb ability in analyzing, planning, and adjusting work operations of one or more organizational segments to meet program requirements and objectives within available resources. 5. Mastery skill in communicating effectively with others, both orally and in writing, in working out solutions to problems or questions related to the work, writing clear and concise intelligence products, and delivering written and/or verbal presentations to senior level audiences for decision-making purposes. PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week. VOLUNTEER WORK EXPERIENCE: Refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service Programs (i.e., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student and social).
