What qualities or characteristics do you value most in employees? Compassion for the patients, for sure. We know that we are seeing sick people who do not feel well, who need help, and to understand that if you were in their position, you'd want somebody to show you some compassion, some understanding, to listen to patients, real important. So many patients have complained that doctors have their one hand on the door. as they're talking to them. We don't like doing that around here. We like to sit and talk and make sure they understand that we understand what they're there for. What training is provided for someone starting this position? Well, initially we'll start you off pretty slow schedule and then we'll eventually work you up. Usually just a couple people on the schedule initially as you get more comfortable with the system and get more comfortable. comfortable with the computers and how things are run, then we will add more patients to your schedule. What does a normal day in this position typically look like? Well, we show up at eight o 'clock. We leave at five o 'clock. Patients are about every 15 to 20 minutes. A new patient's about 30 minutes. We sometimes run over, but not very often. We like to stay on time. Otherwise, um, it's a busy, day and the time flies.
