Performs information technology (IT) customer support focusing and synchronizing DISA and customer efforts to achieve mission goals and increase operational effectiveness. Works with the customer to identify customer requirements based on analysis of business needs and practices. Assist in analyzing functional requirements and utilizes entry level knowledge of operating systems, applications software, and IT policies/procedures to assist in developing viable IT solutions and alternatives. Assist in the review of customer requirement documents and other requests for proposals to specify all technical requirements and concerns are made known to the directorate's engineering staff as appropriate. Brokers new customer workload and works with the project team leader, mentor, and advisor to support team members with project oversight and coordination efforts with other information systems professionals and technical personnel.
