About the role
About the Position: This is a military technician position with the 99th Readiness Division, Area Maintenance Support Activity (AMSA) 105 BMA, located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. This position may offer a $5,000 recruitment bonus (see Additional Information Section).
Prepare daily reports to monitor shop equipment database.
Spearhead formal and informal training to the organization.
Maintain accountability of administrative actions.
Review inventory of supply operations for discrepancies.
Organize shop tools to distribute appropriately to employees.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) utilizing automated systems to schedule and track repairs or work requests; 2) maintaining supply logs or production control records; and 3) conducting inventory of supplies, tools, or parts. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06).
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-06).
