For more information, visit USA Hire Assessment. ** If selected, the job title of this position will be IT Cybersecurity Specialist (INFOSEC) ** Implements and enforces all DoD information system Information Assurance (IA) program policies and procedures for IT applications. Develops application security plans, policy guidance, operations regulations, and procedures to ensure IA regulatory requirements are followed in support of assigned applications and systems. Performs analysis of operating and application systems software using a variety of fact finding and analytical techniques to determine security vulnerabilities. Oversees the security certifications and accreditation of the IT Accounting Services applications and other classified IT Accounting Services application networks. Serves as the IA point of contact for internal and external audit organizations and provides audit assistance, support, and coordination, as necessary, relating to security standards and requirements

Specialized experience is defined as applying methods for evaluating, and implementing IT security tools and application and software; contingency planning documents and guidelines; interpreting, managing, or facilitating changes to Information Assurance (IA) policies and procedures; develop, implement, and coordinate activities ensuring, protecting IT systems, services, and capabilities; monitor and evaluate systems' compliance with IT security requirements.
