  The employee will serve as the Program Analyst, located in the Business Department, Business Operations Division of the Veterans Crisis Line (VCL), Veterans Affair (VA). The VCL is a 24-hour, 7-days-a-week, 365-days-a-year service aimed at connecting callers worldwide to a caring, qualified Veterans Administration employee. The VCL's mission is to provide 24/7, world-class suicide prevention and crisis intervention services to Veterans, Service Members and their family members. Major duties include but are not limited to: Develop goals and strategic plans for the local Employee Whole Health (EWH) program. Develops programs and initiatives to ensure EWH plan is achieved. Represents local EWH team to ensure collaboration on national initiatives that may be beneficial to employees when feasible. Conducts needs assessments of employees to determine program needs and interests and develops core local program components based on assessment results. Collaborates with other services on the assessment of the needs of employees for the evaluation of the effectiveness of the local EWH program. Collaborates and develops programming specific to VCL divisions. Compiles and distributes information on various local EWH program topics and collaborates with relevant subject matter experts. Responsible for scheduling, selecting classes and activities, and organizing events. Integrates concepts, practices and tools that support the Whole Health (WH) system of care. Implements use of available individual health assessments to determine employee wellbeing strengths and opportunities. Creates personalized health plan with employees who desire one by exploring the employee's mission, aspiration, and purpose (MAP); creates goals and action plans with the employee based on his/her MAP. Maintains strict confidentiality of individual employee information according to published guidelines and procedures. Models healthy behavior and provides support and encouragement to employees as it relates to behavior change. Provides WH support to employees on an individual basis or in a group setting. Promotes local EWH program to all employees on all shifts throughout the organization. Collaborates with VCL Internal Communications to develop a communications and marketing plan. Consults with VCL staff as appropriate to maintain high program visibility. Solicits feedback from employees on needs and expectations for the local EWH program primarily through web-based questionnaires. Adjusts program offerings based on employee utilization, satisfaction, and effectiveness. Maintains up to date knowledge of local policies and procedures related to EWH as needed to ensure compliance with VHA level directives and regulations, Union Master Agreements, professional guidelines, and all accrediting and regulatory agencies. Reports regularly to EWH leadership on program goals and accomplishments. Performs other duties as assigned. Work Schedule: Tour of Duty is typically Administrative Hours. Tour is subject to change based on program needs. Compressed/Flexible Work Schedule: May be authorized upon supervisor approval after training per Agency policy. Remote: This is remote position. Selectees will work 100% of the time in a non-VA-owned space outside of the local commuting area of a parent station. The employee's workspace must be suitable for conducting business and as such, remote employees are expected to provide a secure, distraction-free home-based worksite with reliable high speed internet connectivity. The employee will be required to travel to the closest VA Medical Center or VA Outpatient Clinic for issuance of equipment, and as needed for technical support.   The NASA Technical Fellows Program recognizes Agency-wide technical excellence and leadership, with Fellows serving within the NASA Engineering and Safety Center (NESC); advising the Office of the Chief Engineer, NASA programs and Mission Directorates. Also serves as a voting member on the NESC Review Board. Fellows perform value-added testing, analysis, and assessments of NASA's high-risk projects to ensure safety and mission success. The Technical Fellow Non-Destructive Evaluation: Serves as the Agency's authoritative technical resource in Nondestructive Evaluation (NDE), applying advanced engineering theory and operational expertise, frequently leading teams and providing the technical foundation for evaluating and reducing mission risk. Provides Agency-wide technical leadership and collaboration in NDE, leading independent assessments and partnering with recognized researchers and engineers across NASA centers, academia, national laboratories, industry, and the Department of Defense to conduct and sponsor work that informs NDE mission risk. Communicates and fosters NDE knowledge, publishing engineering findings through NASA channels, journals, seminars, NESC Academy courses, or domestic/international universities; serve as an invited presenter at conferences and promote participation in engineering academies.
